Design has reached a crossroads.

In a time of immense change, I often wonder how we will remain adaptable and empowered, while also summoning the creative spirit to do fulfilling work.

I think a lot about what this kind of work will look like in a world where our roles, tools, interfaces, brands, & company cultures are changing by the hour.

The world around us provides the source material to make something truly grand:

The people we meet.

The stories we tell and are told.

The natural beauty around us that will be here long after we're gone.

Our chosen families.

Our teammates.

Ourselves.

I've spent countless nights (and still do) thinking about how to solve for designers & creatives feeling like their most empowered selves.

More proud.

More grounded.

More confident.

We've built Offsite with the belief that the modern working human needs equal parts community, creative practice, and career empowerment to find fulfillment.

We don't have all the answers, nor will we ever pretend to.

But, we're committed to an experimental approach to talent development that challenges the status quo and refuses to ignore the eminent need to do things a bit differently.

And yet, we cannot do it alone.

And so we won't.

We are choosing to gather the few who move the many.
